W. R. Frank was a theatre owner in Minneapolis, who had theatres in Minneapolis, as well as other parts of Minnesota. His partner in the business called Franklin Amusement Company, was Oscar Woempner. Frank died in the 1960s, Woempner around 1970. In the mid-1950s Frank also produced a series of shorts about the Medal of Honor.
