Dave Christiano was born and raised in Waterloo NY and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He became a Christian at the age of 22 while in Jonesboro. He received a Masters Degree at the University and then taught two years at San Antonio Junior College in Texas. At that time he began his filmmaking career as a writer, producer and director with his first film, "The Daylight Zone". Working with his twin brother Rich, they produced 3 films together and then set up separate production companies, while continuing to work together as well throughout the years.
